William E. Shack “Close The Gap” Scholarship Fund

This fund was established to provide scholarships to hundreds of young men and women who are struggling to complete their college education.

Your support of this fund will help bridge the financial gap after students have used all of his or her resources to stay enrolled at Clark Atlanta University, including scholarships, loans, grants and all their parents can possibly provide.

School of Arts and Sciences

The Clark Atlanta University School of Arts and Sciences offers a diverse curriculum that allows students to flourish, find their path, and achieve their lifted life of career success

The School provides the core curricular foundation for the university, rooted in a liberal arts tradition dating back to Clark College (1869); one of the university’s founding institutions and among the nation’s first private four-year liberal arts colleges for African Americans.

Our mission is to prepare highly competent, autonomous, critical-thinking, candidates for P12 schools and various educational settings serving all candidates, particularly those belonging to culturally and linguistically diverse groups.

The Whitney M. Young Jr. School of Social Work at Clark Atlanta University (CAU) is the nation’s first accredited school of social work at a historically black college or university (HBCU) and is named in honor of its first Dean, noted social reformer and civil rights leader, Whitney M. Young Jr.
